Support new Cloud solutions - involves UAT, ORT testing and driving operational requirements. Outputs include Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Execution, Production Verification, Developer and Administrative Portals.
- Maintain overall platform stability/security/supportability. Interface with development teams, vendors, product, sales and customers. Engineer operational requirements, test cases, technical documentation provide operational support.
- Monitor, maintain, & support Cloud solutions.
- Ensure standard processes exist for systems installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading
- Develop guidelines for systems monitoring for maximum availability, uptime, and performance. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues/outages.
- Support of web portals, orchestration, platform, application, API, network and monitoring needs. Platform support (monitoring capabilities, performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintaining overall service and platform health).
- Facilitate post-outage reviews, manage Service Incident Reporting, develop and deliver Root Cause Analysis to management and to the customer
- Will be responsible for administering and troubleshooting a large Oracle Weblogic eCommerce solution.
- Work will include the build out of additional environments, performance testing support, and production troubleshooting efforts.
- This is a client facing role.
SKILLS:MUST HAVE - Oracle Weblogic; Required and CRITICAL

- Expert Red Hat - Linux 6.3 REQUIRED
- Expert Firewall Experience (example Fortinet Fortigate) required
- Expert experience with Linux - System Admin 6.3, Oracle Weblogic, F5 load balancers, and Performance Testing support Red Hat required.
- Intermediate experience with Server administration and Root cause analysis required.
- Must be knowledgeable of the dependencies between software and hardware architectures, comfortable with hands-on server and application administration, possess broad troubleshooting skills across all tiers from network to application to database, and be able to perform root cause analysis.
- The role requires a seasoned technical professional who contributes through proven technical expertise.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- 5-7 years systems administration experience managing enterprise Unix/Linux/Oracle environment.
- 3+ years in a 24x7 production operations role in a highly available multi-data center.
- Experience in Unix/RHCE; Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript; Tomcat, Apache/WebSphere, Webservices; MySQL DBA Scripting (Shell, Perl, CGI, etc.)
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems; Load Balancers, Web Service APIs, REST; Linux networking and storage; VMware ESX/ESX 4.1; vCloud Director
- Server administration
- Root cause analysis
- Professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and advanced oral and written communication skills for status and tracking action items.
- Must be able to research and recommend technology to improve the current systems.
- Must be able to lead a troubleshooting call and provide updates to leadership.
