Major Fortune 500 company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cognos BI Developer with Front End development skills to design and develop BI Front End solutions. Will be assisting with requirement gathering, constructing functional design, and supporting existing BI applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and support BI Front End solutions in Cognos
- Requirement gathering and project management of BI projects
- Providing Cognos training to business users
- Promote BI solutions to user community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6-8 years. experience as a software programmer
- 3 years BI application development experience
- 2 years. Front End Cognos development experience
- Experience with requirement gathering.
- Cognos development skills specifically around Framework Manager, Report Studio, Transformer.
- Excellent SQL skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC practices with an emphasis on DW/BI.
- Proficient in MS Office
