- We work closely with Thomson Reuters' product and platform teams to ensure the successful launch and ongoing management of supporting services to customers

MIS is currently seeking a Project Management Intern to join the organization. This individual will provide assistance to Project or Program teams by producing reports, engaging in detailed analysis of project/portfolio data required to manage the demand of stakeholders, and provide assistance on overall project performance. She or He will also assist in implementing standards and best practices across the PMO. ResponsibilitiesAssists in the analysis of project and/or portfolio performanceWith guidance from experienced colleagues: Supports the establishment of Project Governance/compliance Supports independent, objective, accurate, clear and concise reporting Advises project and program managers on the creation of project reports and supports the appropriate use of reporting tools Collates data needed to analyze the overall effectiveness of project management across the portfolio Supports the implementation of consistent demand management processes across the organization Assists in the creation and maintenance of a portfolio view of project demand Assists in the process of ensuring that resource plans are established across the portfolio to successfully deliver on projects Develops a basic awareness and understanding of Thomson Reuter's technologies, products, and services including a basic understanding of how technical solutions impact the business.
Qualifications
Qualifications A four-year degree in Management Information Systems or other similar technical or business related field Working knowledge in relevant software applications Understanding of Project Management concepts and application Understanding of numerical and qualitative analysis methods and application Report writing Excellent written and verbal communication skills At Thomson Reuters, we believe what we do matters.
