Role Summary/Purpose: GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.As part of the SAP Solution Center Team, the candidate will be responsible for SAP solution design, system configuration and quality management of implementations of the Master Data Management and Governance processes. Scope of work includes Global SAP implementation for GE Lighting business, life cycle management and further expansion of implemented solution.
Essential Responsibilities: - Work together with IT Leadership to deliver SAP strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and priorities in GE Lighting business.
- Understand and utilize SAP solutions, services, methodologies and tools.
- Responsible for SAP solution design, configuration and quality assurance; ensure standard, reusable, sustainable solution delivery.
- Collaboration with functional partners, provide solutions enables growth and operational excellence targets.
- Collaboration with other architects to ensure that the design has been fully considered for both application and infrastructure implications.
- Work leader of relevant Subject Matter Experts and 3rd party partners.
- Responsible for continuous performance and quality improvements of the SAP system.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong SAP knowledge across the organization.
- Lead related projects if requested.
- Besides the main tasks and responsibilities listed above, responsible for completing any other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor or manager.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Externally focused change advocate with ability to work across functional boundaries.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing roles and priorities.
- Up-to-date with industry standards and technology trends.
- Understanding of business processes.
- 5+ years' experience in functional and technical SAP solution design, development, testing and operations in Master Data Management area.
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation for consumer or industrial manufacturing businesses.
- Deep knowledge of SAP MDG and GDS module and data management, governance related process.
- Technical knowledge of integration between SAP MDG, GDS and core SAP ECC modules.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
