Facility Technician

Yoh has a three to six (3-6) month contract opportunity for a Facilities Technician in Emeryville, CA.

Job Overview:

Under minimal supervision, the Facilities Equipment Technician II will perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation duties in a variety of trades related to production, laboratory, and facilities equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and service a wide variety of production and laboratory equipment.

- (WFE's, Roto-Vaps, Reactors, Dicers, Vacuum Pumps, Chillers, Heaters, etc.)
- Individual responsible for providing a wide scope of services, across all departments, as related to Manufacturing Equipment and utilities necessary to keep production running as smooth as possible.
- Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and repair tasks associated with facilities equipment, manufacturing equipment, R&D equipment, and Medical devices equipment
- Works on assignments that are extremely complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations
- Respond to alarm and emergency calls 24/7.

Job Qualifications:

- High School diploma plus Licensed/Certified and/or extensive experienced in one or more of the following trades: Millwright, Machinist, Tool and Die, and/or Electro-Mechanical Controls.
- Eight (8) plus years of industrial maintenance experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment, materials and tools in the field of Industrial Manufacturing.
- Considerable knowledge of mechanical maintenance, repair, and systems installation.
