Summary:

Residential Solar Solutions (RSS) is a wholly owned subsidiary for the NRG Energy, Inc. NRG is a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 Index Company which owns and operates one of the Country's largest and most diverse power generation portfolios. As part of the NRG Energy Company, RSS focuses at Residential Solar via partnerships and leasing programs. The Salesforce.com Developer position is a Full time position. This position will be responsible for Salesforce.com system improvements and support, and enhanced enterprise applications. This position requires a strong understanding of Salesforce in particular and good knowledge of Force.com architecture in general. This position will be based in Houston, Texas or Emeryville, California.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- SFDC development (not administration)
- Apex triggers/Apex Class development
- Create/design custom objects, custom visual components, and visual force page templates
- Exception handling and Runtime Values
- Salesforce.com coding best practices
- Documentation

Qualifications:


Education:

- BS degree
- Salesforce Certification(s) is desired, but not required
- Other relevant certifications would be plus

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- 3-7 years of development experience
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce base applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange products and capabilities
- Experience integrating Salesforce AppExchange products into existing Salesforce platforms
- Understanding of database design
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work across functions at all levels
- Strong ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Demonstrated strong individual performer as well as a team player

Work Location and status:

- Houston, Texas or Emeryville, California
- Full-time employee position
