Information Assurance Analyst (Secret Clearance)

Yoh has a contract to hire opportunity for an Information Assurance Analyst to join our client in Fairfax, Virginia.

Possession of a Secret Security Clearance is required as a condition for employment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collect business requirements.
- Assign appropriate baseline IA controls.
- Identify PPSM-compliant solutions.
- Interface with DoD components' Data Privacy Officers in order to determine program-specific privacy requirements.
- Determine best practices for secure design, architecture, and coding.
- Delineate requirements to development teams, data owners, and executive management.
- Moreover, candidate will perform vulnerability assessments, STIGing, and penetration testing.
- Register systems with all applicable DoD component IA Program Offices.
- Assemble C&A and interoperability packages (ie SIP, DIP, security artifacts, POA&M, ISP).

Job Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computer-related field and a minimum of five (5) years related experience of FISMA-based IA frameworks (ie DIACAP and NIST) and meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements by holding and maintaining at least one of the following IA-centric certificates: CISSP, GSLC, and/or CISM.
- Candidate is expected to be able to deploy, configure and operate wide variety of vulnerability assessment tools and/or platforms.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of USAF SGR, AETC, SPAWAR, US Army Medical Department, MEDCOM, and BUMED is a plus.
- It is highly desired that the candidate possesses expertise in at least two of the following:
- HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, ISO, COBIT, and/or Massachusetts Law.
