Job Description: Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer. Successful candidates for this position will design, develop and implement new multi-tiered application functionality. The candidate will also maintain existing code while adhering to appropriate coding standards, software development methodologies and process flows.

Responsibilities will include:
- Work in collaborative team environment with Developers, Business Analysts and Product Managers to ensure successful implementations of new functionality and services.
- Review technical high level designs, lead detailed designs and software implementation, participate in design reviews and code reviews, ensure unit testing and integration testing, facilitate code delivery to multiple environments and resolve operational issues.
- Work with QA and provide support and timely technical resolutions for defects.
- Setup, tune, and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed.
- Adhere to established coding standards and adopt to the software development methodologies in compliance with the established SDLC process flow.
- Spring/Struts programming
- JavaScript, JSP, jQuery/AJAX
- Java/J2EE
- Web services
- iBatis/Hibernate
- WebSphere 6.x/7.x
- Experience with Oracle 10g/11i
- Working knowledge of Unix
- Experience with Eclipse and Rational Application Developer
- Experience with MQ configurations
- Knowledge of Object Oriented programming
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and stored procedures
- Code Repository: VisualSourceSafe/Subversion
- Knowledge of 508 compliance
- Systems analysis and functional design experience is required, along with a thorough knowledge of database concepts and relational databases
