Job Description: Cyberspace Trainer

Position Summary:
CGI Federal will provide support to the USSOCOM Directorate for worldwide training and exercise of Special Operations Forces (SOF). With a core mission of ensuring Special Operations Forces are trained and ready to execute the full range of SOF operations.

The Cyberspace Trainer will develop, plan, coordinate, and evaluate cyber training courses, methods, and techniques. Develop training policy and plans for personnel involved in all facets of cyber operations

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop or assist in the development of individual/collective development/training plans.
- Develop Cyberspace exercise learning objectives.
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify training requirements.
- Deliver training to individuals or groups.
- Coordinate training events.
- Utilize or develope learning activities (eg, scenarios, instructional games, interactive exercises, etc.).
- Facilitate small group discussions.
- Communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner.
- Communicate effectively when writing and speaking.
- Gauge learner understanding and knowledge level. Required

Skills:

- Knowledge of the Joint Training System.
- Knowledge of joint training policies.
- Knowledge of mission essential tasks.
- Knowledge of instructional design and evaluation models (eg, ADDIE, Smith/Ragan model, Gagne's Events of Instruction, Kirkpatrick's model of evaluation, etc.).
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and their use in managing learning.
- More than five years operational military and training experience.Additional Requirements:

- B.S. in Computer Science with related military experience or other related field of study. Equivalence of 10 years of experience in the above will be considered.
- Professional Military Education/Service Military Academy Senior Staff College preferred.
- Joint Network Attack Course graduate preferred.
- Joint Cyber Analysis Course graduate preferred.
Must hold a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
