Description
CRM is the Customer Relationship Management portfolio for American Express supported by the CRM-T organization. Customer Relationship Management provides a comprehensive and accurate view of a customer's AXP relationship including their demographics, privacy, preferences and value to all American Express business domains to improve business strategic outcomes through use of our accurate and comprehensive single source of truth for customer identity data (demographics) and customer relationship linkage. We are responsible for accurately identifying and defining each Individual customer with a unique and stable identification number. We focus on driving accuracy in data capture, providing a reliable and optimized data store, and Governance around customer data access.
- Ability to adapt to new technology environment and quickly grasp diverse technology implementation
- Ensures that the engineered environment meets the specification in terms of business requirements, application design and infrastructure requirements
- Ability to lead an onshore/offshore architects & developers and be flexible to work with team in diverse geographical locations
- Ensures quality in terms of the technical delivery and is accountable for the performance, efficiency, maintainability and stability of solutions.
- Ensures technical design/implementation documentation is completed to a high standard
- Provides/reviews estimates for design, build, test and implementation phases, ensuring quality and accuracy is continuously improved.
- Supports the architectural design and documentation.
- Provides hands-on technical expertise/governance on all aspects of implementation or third-party software integration.
- Work with Application Director on POA strategies of application platform.
- Knowledgeable of Amex SOA Prescriptive Architecture and ability to adopt to new standards.
- Strive towards innovation and provide new solutions for application.
- Understand Reference Architecture standards and ensure they are followed in application driven initiatives.
- Support Application director on improving platform management, reducing platform costs and improve productivity.
- Responsible for the design, build, test and implementation phases, as well as ensuring adherence to technical standards.
- Responsible for defining Point of arrival Transformational Technical Solutions.
- Point of Contact and communicator of architecture standards and new technology.
- Defining, Documenting and delivering Point of Arrival Roadmap
- Keep abreast of new technology and delivering Proof of Concepts
- Excellent Communicator and the ability to collaborate and influence a High performing Team
- Experience in developing Power Point Presentations.
- Experience in defining and delivering performance enhancements
- Responsible for the design, build, test and implementation phases, as
- Works with Integrator Network to ensure solutions support the business and IT strategic plan and is accountable for the performance and efficiency of solutions.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of multiple platform/application areas within portfolio supported, ie, performs as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for several applications, or as an integration SME for third-party software products.
- Have knowledge of Customer Identification and Linking Capability.
- Ability to Leads teams of employees, on-shore and off-shore out task resources from multiple locations.
- Responsibility for coaching and mentoring junior technical staff.
- Responsible for the quality of deliverables in terms of the technical design, implementation, testing and adherence to technical compliance standards. Works primarily with Lead Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects and/or Vendor partners.
- Resource Capacity Plan
- Provides/reviews estimates for all phases of a Project.
- Interacts with the business to understand associated business processes in conjunction with Process Analyst resources (if available).
- Ensures technical design/implementation documentation is completed to a high standard

Qualifications
- 5-7 years of technical experience in software application development.
- Hands-on experience in programming using ETL tools in a UNIX environment.
- Fluency with relational database concepts & programming for UDB, DB2, or Oracle.
- Hands on experience with programming in any of the following: Java, Perl, UNIX shell.
- 5 + years Experience with web service implementations, SOA and MQ Message Broker.
- 5 + years Experience with IBM mainframe.
- 1 + years Datapower experience.
- TOGAF certification a plus
