POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting growth of Acceptance within Americas, providing consulting and analytics support to the Acceptance business efforts, & developing internal and external benchmarking and reporting. This position will work closely with Acceptance Sales, Product, Pricing & Strategy, Finance, Merchant Marketing, and Acceptance Economics teams to support efficient implementation of products and services. The position will have direct accountability for production of internal and external information production, managing executive level reporting on key business insights and opportunities, and supporting key initiatives of Acceptance Solutions.

JOB SCOPE
-Derive and provide key insights into Acceptance business with respect to growth trends, routing impacts from Durbin legislation, contract tracking, competitor analysis, and market segment analysis
-Prepare analytical reports that are key to managing Acceptance business in a timely and accurate fashion with minimal supervision
-Work on specific ad hoc projects that support key business decisions by gathering relevant data and collaborating with cross-functional teams where necessary
-Develop new models and refine existing ones to assess sales opportunities, interchange differentials, operational savings at Visa's Acceptance stakeholders
-Enhance existing processes in Analytics through analysis and creative thinking
-Take on complex business problems; identify solutions by utilizing data modeling and analysis, partner with stakeholders within Acceptance and other teams across the company, and drive implementation plans
-Produce benchmarking analyses for Acceptance Solutions (eg business performance, operational and business metrics performance, cross-sell and usage, etc.)
-Support sales and marketing efforts with sound statistical and business analysis; execute ad-hoc analyses & reporting to meet the fast-changing market demands. Liaise with segment leads and Account Executives and support them in delivering volume growth
-Ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reporting, business analysis, and insight

Qualifications
-5+ years of business experience desirable in areas of business analysis, data analytics, and reporting in Payment cards, Retail banking or a comparable industry
-Four year Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Mathematics
-Excellent professional and academic track record
-Demonstrated experience in the utilization of programming/analytical tools for fact-based decision making
-Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills (capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations)
-Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and concluding large projects
-High levels of accuracy and integrity
-Skills: Advanced knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Additionally working knowledge of reporting tools like SQL, Visual Basic, MicroStrategy, and Tableau.
