As a part of Visa's Product Organization, Visa Analytics serves as a central analytics function that supports internal teams that work with our key Visa issuing banks and merchant clients in the U.S. and Canada. Visa has a huge amount of data, including over 80 billion transactions made on over 2 billion cards at tens of thousands of merchants, providing the basis for insightful and innovative analytics that helps Visa and our clients to improve their products and market position. Position Summary:
We are currently seeking outstanding candidates to drive analytical projects and insights for Visa Analytics. The Client Solutions Manager will be a member of the North America Visa Analytics team reporting to a Client Solutions Senior Business Leader. The position will be based at Visa's headquarters in Foster City, California.
The Client Solutions team within Visa Analytics comprises a strategic consulting skillset with a deep understanding of the value drivers for Visa and our clients, enabling it to scope and solution analytic frameworks that utilize Visa's big data assets to address client business opportunities. Client Solutions resources translate business requirements (provided by client-facing Analytic Business Partners (ABPs) into Visa-proprietary frameworks for analytic solutions and products, and based on findings from technical data analysis (conducted by an Analytic Delivery team), draw insights and actionable recommendations that reflect the client's business and context. This function is critical in building market-relevant client solutions and intellectual property.
Responsibilities:
-Support the design and delivery of analytic projects/solutions for Issuer and Merchant clients, and for internal Visa use, relating to Visa products (including Consumer Credit, Consumer Debit, Pre-paid, Small Business and Commercial)
-With supervision, build the "story board" for the final output of projects, appropriate to the target audience
-Work with Excel outputs from delivery teams to create charts and articulate findings
-Support the development of PowerPoint outputs including articulation of key insights for clients, actionable recommendation and value
-Support the definition and creation of strategic, repeatable offerings which address the business needs of multiple clients and that are accretive to Visa intellectual property
-Deliver work on time and budget, exceeding quality expectations
-Research industry metrics and business context and bring this context to bear in adding value to outputs
Qualifications
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills
-Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
-Quick study who can quickly learn the business environment in which Visa and our Issuer and Merchant clients operate, as well as data and analytical techniques
-Ability to quickly draw insights from data
-Very strong attention to detail
-Collaborative working style; ability to work with diverse skillsets on projects
-Flexibility and ability to multi-task
-Experienced in high-level business requirements capture and analysis to ensure effective execution
-Experience with SAS and analytical techniques are advantageous but NOT required
Education and Experience:
-Bachelors in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research and Management or Engineering
-MBA preferred
-1-3 years' experience in a Management Consulting firm or Payments or Retail Financial Services company
