This position will have responsibility for communicating and consulting with clients on commercial product offerings as part of the overall sales process. The role will focus on leading Optimization efforts for North American Issuers and providing engagement sales support to expand the breadth of products available to the business.

A portion of this role will focus on Issuer Optimization Engagements and implementation of Optimization and Reporting tools, to meet Visa and client objectives for end-customer performance, revenue/profitability, and innovation in customer adoption

Responsibilities
-Present and deliver commercial payment solutions to Financial Institutions and/or end Corporate customers
-Work with Financial Institutions and/or end Corporate clients to deliver specialized or customized offerings that results in profitable solutions (manage regular relationship activities as needed with key stakeholders)
-Partner with Commercial Sales and Visa Account Executives to sell in products to clients and/or potential client
-Host product demonstrations and/or host presentations and speak to products with depth of understanding and a high level of confidence in product features and benefits
-Partner and work with Global Commercial Product to become an SME on the Commercial Product offerings
-Lead and initiate optimization engagements with Issuers related to the PerformSource suite of products and tools. This includes outreach and communication with Issuers, management and scheduling client meetings, managing action items and any follow-up
-Train Issuers on the use of PerformSource and Spend Analysis tools. This includes preparation of materials in addition to delivery of content via webinar or in an onsite client workshop
-Initiate, lead and present optimization corporate client Reviews as needed. This includes performing Spend Analysis for the corporate client.
-Use the Reviews as a mechanism to increase understanding of the client's Procure-to-Pay initiatives and challenges and develop stronger relationships
-Utilize the capabilities of the supporting PerformSource tools in order to make each Review as effective and efficient as possible for all parties
-Collaborate with the clients to identify and recommend best practices and commercial card program expansion opportunities including benchmarking against best practices and peer group performance and preparing Return on Investment financials
-Understand and Deliver complex product configurations and business solutions based on customer business requirements - define both business requirements and solution requirements utilizing strong technical skills
-Plan the implementation of products and services sold to key customers in order to accomplish goals or produce the products/results required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards; Appropriate use of project management methodologies and detail project documents to ensure project success
-Maintain effective communication with impacted parties and stakeholders.
-Continuously monitor progress, customer feedback, and provide status updates and project milestones to the project team, senior management, the client, and banking partners, via weekly or other progress reporting, and by managing status meetings

Qualifications
-10-12+ years of relevant experience with card payments industry, corporate banking or card processing preferred.
-Effectiveness of communication/interactions with internal cross-functional teams (product/platform development, operations, marketing, sales, legal, etc.), senior management, third party vendors and providers, and clients.
-Ability to analyze a client's current situation and goals and utilize analytical tools to prepare recommendations and options for improvement
-Knowledge of Procure to Pay processes and how card programs can be integrated to improve functions and reduce costs
-Excellent client communication and presentation skills
-Ability to work as part of a team to prepare recommendations yet work independently to manage several client optimization Reviews concurrently
-Ability to meet established goals yet flexibility to act and react to unforeseen business imperatives
-Demonstration of leadership in Matrix management environments, evidence of strong business and organizational judgment.
-Flexibility to respond to changes quickly and thoughtfully.
-Experience in financial services, especially Commercial industry and knowledge of B2B payment space.
-College degree required; MBA a plus
-Expertise in core tools such as MS Excel (intermediate to advanced) Power-point (intermediate), Word (intermediate) and MS Project (intermediate). Knowledge of Access (Basic) and Visio is a plus
-Up to 25% travel may be required as part of this role.
