Position Description:

The Implementation Support Engineer will provide implementation support directly to our merchant developers for Visa's online payment products and services. This person will be responsible for partnering with the Visa Integration team to assist merchants with implementing Visa's payment product on merchant websites. Ideal candidates will have both superb technical coding experience and customer facing skills.

Responsibilities include:
-Troubleshooting integration issues at the code level
-Researching server and client code
-Escalating issues to Level 3 engineers and helping to prioritize bugs
-Taking the technical lead on integration support
-Interfacing with both direct merchants and channel partners
-Representing Technical Support to product team

Qualifications
-In-depth technical experience in a technology company or web consulting business such as technical support, software development, or Back End web development is preferred. Recent college graduates will also be considered.
-Proficient in web-based software development technologies (PHP, ASP, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Ruby)
-Web Technologies: JS, HTML, familiarity with other Scripting languages is a plus, request/response paradigm, XML, JSON, Web Services.
-Web Security: SSL, HTTPS, Hash algorithms.
-Strong SQL skills.
-Understanding of how to search logs, etc.
-Experience working with E-commerce platforms, shopping cart modules, and/or payment service provider (gateways) required. Good knowledge of payments and eCommerce sector.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience working directly with customers. Prior Technical or Customer Support experience is preferred.
-Strong problem solving skills.
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
