Senior Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor and track plans to create the BA deliverables on an assigned project.
  • Analyze and define complex, cross-functional business processes in support of IT projects.
  • Conduct project stakeholder analysis to ensure impacted business organizations are engaged with the project team. Communicate with business Subject Matter Experts to ensure expectations are kept in line with project status.
  • Define and analyze business and functional requirements. Apply business analysis modeling techniques appropriate to the solution being delivered.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the organizational change management plan to drive stakeholder adoption of the designed processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Quality Assurance to develop QA Strategy.
  • Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing. Ensure end-to-end solution is proven to deliver the business objectives identified during the project initialization.
  • Ensure solution production readiness and facilitate knowledge transfer to Global Production Support.
  • Mentor other BAs on the delivery of artifacts for assigned projects.
  • Network across the global BA community to share best practices and help improve BA competency across the enterprise

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of Business Analysis experience
  • Highly proficient at eliciting and analyzing stakeholder requirements; and in particular planning and executing collaborative requirements workshops
  • Ability to develop and deliver results against individual and small group work plans.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to identify and propose solutions for process improvement opportunities
  • Ability to think strategically, lead with vision, and build effective teams
  • Prefer knowledge of retail sector and of IT technologies relevant to TJX
  • Bachelor Degree in technology, information systems, business, engineering, or liberal arts.
  • CBAP certification preferred
