Job Description: Business Consultant

CGI Federal is looking for a Business Consultant to work in our Albany, GA location. The Business Consultants shall be the top expert and the primary liaison between the business community (customers) and the IT solution providers and shall serve in a project management capacity. Duties include:

- Provide the full range of project management activities
- Develop LIS sustainment strategies
- Perform data collection and analysis with documented findings and recommendations
- Prepare analyses, briefing material, presentations, reports, studies and recommendations; deliver briefings to wide range of audiences
- Organize and facilitate integrated product team (IPT) meetings to include development of agenda items, recording action items, and reporting IPT status
- Develop metrics and metric reporting capabilities
- Provide trend analysis
- Conduct benchmarking to determine best business practices for LIS
- Provide general consulting, problem analysis and development of strategies geared toward logistics business process improvement
- Provide functional analytical support related to logistics tasks and LIS
- Provide analytical support for logistics modernization efforts
- Document customer requirements leading to the development of functional systems requirements documents, system change requests, system modification requests, and incident reports
- Provide communication/collaboration with ranking personnel internal and external to MARCORLOGCOM in conjunction with government personnel
- Participate as team member in the determination of project scale, goals, and direction
- Develop and organize processes and procedures that facilitate logistics modernization initiatives and best business practices
- Assess impact of policy or business changes on existing LIS
- Produce visually compelling documentation that depicts program progress, impacts and trends
- Define project scope, requirements and deliverables
- Provide general consulting, including problem analysis, strategies and modeling for process improvement

- Coordinate and integrate project activities
- Monitor status and mitigate risks
- Evaluate existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes
- Develop metrics and prepare trend analyses on performance of systems

- Prepare and present presentations to high-ranking officials
- Analyze processes with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment
- - Create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating change to impacted business teams
Requirements
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience required.

Additional Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
- Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required.
