The Engineer/Technologist will provide direction and assistance to work groups in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities:

Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program/product requirements Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers Document and communicate results of technical data generated Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives Share engineering information and promote open dialogue Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Perform day-to-day maintenance and support of DOORS and Dimensions, including maintenance of user permissions and roles, troubleshooting issues, and answering technical questions Utilize DXL to automate DOORS metrics and error detection (programming skills are required) Set up tailored Dimensions artifacts, including design parts, projects, item definitions, and item life cycle processes Integrate project tools (eg, code review tools) with Dimensions (ie, check-in/check-out and release processes) Automate common or time-consuming Dimensions tasks to improve team productivity Document custom Dimensions setup and usage instructions Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science (OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an Engineering, IT, Scientific or related technical position) Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
