HP Storage Solutions Engineer - Storage, Back-Up and Receovery Data Center Solutions Engineer Technology Solutions provider partnered with VMware, EMC, Cisco Systems and HP has an immediate need for Data Center Solutions Engineers with with strong Storage, Virtualization and/or Data Center Engineering skills. These will be a customer facing Engineering roles covering their regional clients.
*Multiple positions open so strength in Virtualization, Storage and/or Data Center Engineering is all applicable.
*You can live anywhere in Michigan and you'll work from home when not traveling to client sites.
What you need for this position:
- HP ASE certification for Storage is desired
- Strong ability to architect, implement and integrate Storage or VMware solutions
- Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert to regional clients
- In depth understanding of enterprise datacenter technologies including networking, security, NAS, Cloud Computing and physical datacenter practices
- Strong experience with IP-based and Fiber networking for SAN/NAS technologies
- Experience with 3PAR is a big plus
- Any other relevant certifications are a plus: VCP, VCDX, CCEA, EMCIE, NCIE, CCNP, CCIE, HP Blade Architect, etc.
What you'll be doing:
- Engineering for Storage, Virtualization or Compute solutions in the region
- Act as a subject matter expert in the design, implementation and support of Storage, back-up and Recovery solutions
- Be the go-to Solutions Engineer providing solutions from inception to delivery.
- Designing and implementing complex system configuration and standards for x86 platforms at an expert level in diverse, demanding customer environments.
