PRIMARY DUTIES:
Provide 'Shrink Wrap' BI solutions to solve business and technical needs
Provide thought leadership for information delivery within service oriented architecture domain
Responsible for prototyping and building Business Intelligence solutions such as dynamic dashboards, scorecards, standardized reports & OLAP Solutions using BI suites such as IBM Cognos technology platform
Conduct BI solution requirements working sessions with business users
Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance in BI space
Perform `Proof of Concepts' and subject matter expertise in Business Intelligence solution delivery

Required Technical Skills:

Must have:
Hands on experience delivering Reporting solutions, Dynamic Dashboards and Scorecards
Strong hands on experience in JAVA Scripting and Data Services development
Strong experience in IBM Cognos BI Suite including use of Framework Modeling, Active Reports, Transformer Cubes, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio and Cognos Mashup Services
Hands on experience in multi-dimensional modeling techniques
Expert level SQL skills against RDBMS such as Teradata and SqlServer
Strong Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse foundation
Business facing experience
Background in Data Visualization techniques and tools is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 years experience in DW and BI environments
5+ years designing and building Business Intelligence solutions using information delivery suites such as Cognos or microstrategy
Ability to work and effectively communicate with both the business and technical experts
Experience working in a matrixed organization.

Skilled at identifying flat areas and providing feedback to employees for performance improvement.

OTHER: Familiarity with visual design concepts for executive dashboards is a strong plus .
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in business/financial systems and processes.
Possesses a high and extensive level of technical skills, database software applications.
Experience implementing BI solutions using Agile methodology is a plus.
