The primary function of this position is to design, develop and deploy Business Intelligence solutions that leverage data warehouse, BI reporting and analytic solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Responsible for developing Business Intelligence solutions such as dynamic dashboards, scorecards, standardized reports & OLAP Solutions using IBM Cognos BI suites
Perform `Proof of Concepts' and subject matter expertise in Business Intelligence solution delivery
Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance in BI space

Required Technical Skills:

Must have:
-Expert level skills in building Reports, Dynamic Dashboards, Scorecards using IBM Cognos
-Strong experience in multi-dimensional modeling techniques
-Strong experience in IBM Cognos BI Suite including use of Framework Modeling, Active Reports, Transformer Cubes, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio and Cognos Mashup Services
-Experience with JAVA development and Data Services development
-Expert level SQL skills against RDBMS such as Teradata and SqlServer
-Strong Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse foundation

WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 years experience in DW and BI environments
3+ years designing and building Business Intelligence solutions using information delivery suites such as cognos
Ability to work and effectively communicate with both the business and technical experts
Experience working in a matrixed organization.

OTHER:
Familiarity with visual design concepts for dashboards is a strong plus
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in business/financial systems and processes.
Possesses a high and extensive level of technical skills, database software applications
Experience implementing BI solutions using Agile methodology is a plus
