SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the management of the OAI-sys Change Management team within the Enterprise Change & Release organization. The team's objective is to ensure changes follow defined processes and controls and that changes are released to the targeted environment with minimal impact. This position involves the management of team resources through operational responsibilities, the leadership of process maturity, and the collaboration with infrastructure engineering teams to ensure change ticket quality and process adherence.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight and leadership of the day to day activities of the Change and Release Management team.
- Manage team resource/staffing model to ensure coverage of team responsibilities.
- Manage offshore resources (includes optimization of assignment model).
- Responsible for all aspects of human resource management.
- Develop team resources and grow team capabilities by providing opportunities and supportive coaching.
- Form strategic partnerships with OAI-sys portfolio teams and collaborate to enforce process adherence, ensure change ticket quality, and optimize change processing efficiencies.
- Serve as an escalation point for elevated risk changes. Common escalation items include changes with historical record of causing incidents, changes requesting to implement outside of the process, and changes requiring immediate action.
- Oversee Release Readiness/Change Review meetings and expand rollout to additional engineering portfolios.
- Partner with the Enterprise Capabilities Office to further mature Change & Releases processes.
- Close gaps with changes that do not leverage the Enterprise change management process/tool.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, prioritize improvement items, and lead team through their implementation.
- Manage select improvement initiatives as projects (effort estimates, milestone plan with defined schedule and assigned ownership, plan risk/issue escalation, deliverable focused).
- Support strategic and Enterprise initiatives as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Management Skills: Workload demand and team capacity planning, scheduling, execution, and control monitoring. Develop and leverage talent. All aspects of HR Management.
- Leadership: Embrace change and help your team to embrace change. Lead by example. Motivate, inspire, and align others. Influence others outside of your organization.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Sound analytical and logic skills when dealing with issues that are loosely defined. Ability to dissect complex problems, identify multiple solution options, and determine advantages/disadvantages. Ability to make recommendations and decisions.
- Collaboration/Leverage Partnerships: Ability to build and maintain working relationships with partnering organizations and fellow team members. Ability to understand others- perspective. Able to influence others in non-authority relationships.
- Change & Release Management Process and Tool Knowledge: ITIL certification a plus, HP or BMC Remedy tool experience.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to understanding at a high-level the infrastructure engineering technologies (server, data network, voice, storage, etc.) in order to partner with the engineering portfolios in ensuring Change and Release Management processes are adhered to.
