DUTIES:
Support wide range of technical duties associated with the development and test environment in support of enterprise IT systems.
- Responsible for incident, problem, configuration, and release management activities.
- Create and monitor application and infrastructure performance reports
- Accountable for the quality of the Configuration Management Database for assets under management
- Ensure on-time delivery of customer requests for environment provisioning
- Measure and continuously improve service delivery
- Responsible for creating documentation such as status reports, process flows, configuration details, issue reporting, and root cause analysis reports
- Act as technical operational contact and technical resource to support and check the work of a team of 5-10 onshore and offshore resources in development and testing teams in the US, London and India
- Lead role with responsibility for work product and workload management, but not for direct management of team members
Qualifications
Requires Master s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study and 1 year experience as Software Developer, Systems Engineer, Windows Administrator or related, including experience designing, building and supporting enterprise class Windows server environments. Will accept Bachelor s degree and 5 years experience in lieu of Master s degree and 1 year experience. Requires experience in Windows Security, VBScript and Windows command line, Windows 2k3 Server, BizTalk 2009, IIS and Windows web technologies, and virtualization technologies such as VMWare. Requires experience in application performance monitoring and capacity planning. Requires project management skills. Requires financial knowledge and experience in budget and resource planning. Requires experience in preparing and giving management presentations. Requires experience negotiating in a matrixed team environment.
40 hours/week
