Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the design, implementation, and management of mission critical infrastructure for internal Booz Allen teams and gain exposure to a variety of new technologies with cross-domain opportunities for growth, creativity, and collaboration. Perform independent research and analyze complex technologies to develop system specifications, analyze implementation plans, and perform operational support protocols for mission critical solutions. Perform process documentation, work independently, and balance multiple high-visibility tasks with tight deadlines, perform root cause analysis, and recommend permanent solutions to improve performance and client satisfaction. Learn and transfer knowledge regarding current issues and new technologies is essential in both written and oral formats. Provide IT support to a diverse staff and deliver quality work in a dynamic public-facing environment with exposure to high-level staff and clients. Define and champion a regimented process for managing multiple Citrix environments to improve performance, availability, and overall client satisfaction. Redesign existing infrastructure and enhance services to meet continual service improvement metrics and expectations from clients and management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
--2 years of experience with Windows systems administration, including RHEL 5 and 6 or SUSE 9 and 11-2 years of experience with the design, implementation, and operational support with XenServer, XenDesktop, and XenApp
-Ability to work after-hours and weekend work occasionally
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, IT, or CS or AA or AS degree with 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-CCA Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Citrix Web application and provisioning servers
-Experience with clustering and load balancing Citrix environments with NetScaler
-Experience with managing AD security accounts and groups and group policies to publish and provision VDI and applications
-Experience with Windows Scripting technologies, including WMI, ADSI, VBS, and WSH
-Experience with Vmware ESX-ESXi administration, including 4.X and later
-Experience with AWS (Amazon Web services) infrastructure
-Experience with compiling and presenting technical architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences
-Knowledge of Microsoft system center configuration manager (SCCM)
-Knowledge of data backup technologies
-Ability to research and solve problems independently
-Ability to provide high-quality customer service
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
