IT Security Practice Director

 IT Security Practice Director. 

IT Security niche with focus in IAM/SIEM and want to add a practice director.   This executive will be a business-savvy individual who will have P/L responsibilities and can both launch and grow this practice. It will be an exciting challenge for the right candidate!

The candidate must possess

• A strong understanding of the IT Security market, customer needs and drivers - with an emphasis on Identity and Access Management and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM). 
• A successful track record in business development, pre-sales and/or customer-facing delivery skills.
• Extensive experience with IBM's IAM and SIEM tools. Experience with other industry-leading (Gartner MQ) IAM and SIEM tools can also be considered. 
• Some experience working with US and India-based sales, marketing and engineering teams. 
• Experience creating proposals, statements of work, PowerPoint presentations and data sheets.
• Exceptional customer-facing and communication skills. 

The ideal candidate will also possess prior hands-on experience with some of the tools mentioned above. 

The job will be based in Herndon, VA. Other locations on the East Coast (New York through Washington DC) may be considered based on qualifications.                         

Valid US work authorization is a must.
