Description

Key Role:

Serve as the contractor's contract manager and as the contractor's authorized interface with the government contracting officer, the contracting officer's technical representative, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Help determine business goals in consultation with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals. Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise contractor personnel, and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Build strong relationships and work comfortably in a client site setting. This position is located in the northern Virginia area.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with managing software development or COTS software integration projects
-Experience with the Project Management Framework
-Experience with the Project Management Lifecycle
-Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and Lotus Notes
-Knowledge of the Agile development methodology
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera Teamplay
-Experience with managing a project budget and resources management
-Experience with tracking multiple project schedules and dependencies
-Knowledge of SharePoint
-Knowledge of current market trends and industry best practices in information technology, including software development methodologies
-Knowledge of software engineering technologies and architectures
-Possession of excellent client relationship, problem solving, and team leadership and development skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-PMP Certification
