Description

Key Role:
Serve as the contractor's contract manager and the contractor's authorized interface with the government contracting officer, the contracting officer's technical representative, government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Help to determine business goals in consultation with top management and make detailed plans for the accomplishment of these goals. Formulate and enforce work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Build excellent relationships and thrive in a client site environment. This position is located in the northern Virginia area.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-5+ years of experience with managing software development or COTS software integration projects
-Experience with the Project Management Framework
-Experience with the Project Management Lifecycle
-Experience with being a power user of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Lotus Notes
-Knowledge of the Agile development methodology
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera Teamplay
-Experience with managing a project budget and resources management
-Experience with tracking multiple project schedules and dependencies
-Knowledge of SharePoint
-Knowledge of current market trends and industry best practices in IT, including software development methodologies
-Knowledge of software engineering technologies and architectures
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for presentations at all levels
-Possession of excellent problem solving, team leadership, development, and client relationship skills-PMP Certification
