Description

Key Role:

Design and develop SharePoint and Microsoft .NET-based solutions for customers within the federal government, DoD, and commercial organizations. Work with IT technical team in the design and creation of SharePoint and .NET applications and define components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools to meet a variety of business solutions, including workflows, dashboards, reporting, and content management solutions, ensuring alignment of the technical with business strategy. Follow software develop life cycle using Agile practices and apply best practices for design and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint solutions in support of capabilities, including portals, collaboration, enterprise content management, business intelligence, and business process enablement. Develop solutions in SharePoint using out of the box configuration and Front End Web development technologies, including JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, CAML, and server side development, such as .NET, Visual Studio 2008 and 2010, and Windows workflow foundation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with developing Web applications using the .NET framework 2.0 and above
-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
-Experience with SharePoint Portal 2007 and 2010 implementation, deployment, and configuration
-Experience with developing custom SharePoint solutions, including content types, Web parts, list definitions, and workflows using best practices for version control, packaging, and continuous integration and creating highly customized workflows using .NET, C#, and SharePoint 2010 and
-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security model, events, alerts, and workflows
-Ability to perform well in dynamic, collaborative team environment and convey technical information to non-technical audiences
-Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical and non-technical issues
-Ability to be a self-starter and learn new technologies and software engineering practices
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Sciences or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with SharePoint in DoD organizations, including armed services, such as Air Force, Army, and Navy
-Experience with SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint Foundation Server 2010
-Experience with SharePoint 2010 enterprise services, including Visio services, InfoPath forms services, Excel services, and PerformancePoint services
-Experience with COTS add-ins for SharePoint, including charting tools
-Experience with Microsoft Project Server
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
