Description

Key Role:

Provide solutions leveraging service oriented architecture (SOA) patterns to enable large-scale interoperability across many agencies and organizations within the federal government. Identify new methods for analyzing, processing, and visualizing massive data sets using Rich Internet Application (RIA) platforms, touch technologies, and mobile applications. Mentor junior staff in software architecture and software development best practices. Provide career management support to staff and support the marketing and development of new business. Research and deliver best-practices for service-enabling systems using industry standards in multiple communities and architect, design, and implement service-enabled and interoperable systems. Use of Java, J2EE, .NET, SOAP, XML, database skills, Object Oriented analysis and design concepts, and the use of SOA concepts and implementation patterns. Leverage experience with Cloud computing paradigms.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with building Java and J2EE applications
-2+ years of experience with developing applications using XML
-Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise architecture environment
-Ability to work independently to identify new solutions against client problems
-Ability to provide career management to staff
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Cloud computing concepts and patterns
-Experience with Scripting languages, including Python, JavaScript, and HTML 5
-Experience with REST and SOAP-based Web services
-Experience with Ozone Widget Framework
-Experience with writing proposals and identifying and capturing new opportunities
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
