The Customer Technology Solutions (CTS) Phone team is looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role in the development and support of Android Mobile devices. CTS is responsible for providing MCG customers with the engineering, collateral, tools, services, and support to enable them to ramp high-volume winning products based on MCG products and platforms. Our team is a technical organization with platform, systems, software, and hardware engineers working directly with customers and our development teams to enable and maximize the impact of our technology. We serve as a solutions partner to our customers providing services, including technical evaluations; collateral and tools; hardware; software; systems integration support; and partnering with third-party hardware and software partners to ensure broad success of mobile IA devices.

This position requires an energetic, passionate Graphics Software Systems Engineer who has good understanding of the Android OS, graphics device drivers, android graphics HAL, and chipsets combined with a good understanding of OpenGL, OpenCL API. This individual should have solid problem solving, communication, documentation and organizational skills and the interest and ability to work well within a team. Knowledge of product development life cycle and a keen passion for system software development on Android/Linux is key to the success of our team.

Responsibilities will include:
Customer Interface and assist OEMs with integration of Intel SOC
Technical presentations for both internal and external customers
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve all software, firmware and platform related issues and ensure closure at the respective debug forums.
Design and develop OEM specific functionality

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Minimum Requirements:
5+ years experience in android system software design and graphics expertise in either Android or Windows
3 to 5 years of experience in Linux Driver development
-Previous experience with device driver/Embedded development is a must
-Good understanding of the Android and Graphics architecture
-Proficient in C and/or C++, Linux system level programming including multi-threaded development concepts.

Preferred Requirements:
-Android Multimedia framework development experience with good understanding of Linux kernels and hardware driver interaction concepts is a plus.
-Previous experience with Display and graphics OpenGL ES development is highly desirable.
-Linux Kernel debugging skills
