Description

Job Description: Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, validates, modifies and re-designs circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.
Mininum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Strong practical knowledge in C++ coding using Object Oriented programming concepts such as inheritance, polymorphisms, abstract classes and virtual functions. Knowledgeable in software development cycles, coding standards, software testing and coverage reports, memory leaks checking, exceptions handling. Working knowledge in using Visual Studios or Eclipse IDEs for development and debugging. Be able to develop C++, Perl scripts, Shell Scripts on linux and windows operating systems.

Optional Requirements: Course works in Electrical Engineering or hardware design concepts (transistors, logic gates, flip flops), DFT (Design for Test), networking and IT (TCP/IP and UDP protocols, Client Server development, Windows Server 2008, file servers, and network topologies). Web hosting experience using ASP.net with vbscripts, javascripts. Working knowledge in developing test software for ATEs (automated test equipment).
