An exciting technical opportunity for the individual looking to learn and apply their skills with the next generation of Enterprise Application tools and technologies for Intel IT!
This position will be part of the Enterprise Application Capability Engineering team within Intel's IT Engineering organization. This team is responsible for exploring, implementing and managing many business critical and leading-edge enterprise platforms. Current platforms include Intel's Employee Portal, Business-to-Business Portal, Enterprise Mobility, Search, and Business Process Management as well as the related development tools and technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and Java.
You will have the opportunity to be involved with exploration, analysis, design and implementation of new capabilities and technical standards to be used by business projects. The position may work closely with a variety of IT projects to understand and support their usage of the platform and technologies. Responsibilities will also include custom development work to build POC's and extend vendor delivered capabilities.
Job Description: Develops, implements, and maintains computer-based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards/guidelines for development, responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Qualifications
Must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Information Systems.
Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
An insatiable curiosity and interest in learning and applying leading-edge technologies is a must. Course work and some hands-on programming experience with web technologies such as HTML, HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, XSLT will be needed. Knowledge or experience with performance testing & optimization, development and change control processes, or project management will be a plus.
