In this position, you will be part of Intel's Client Software & Solutions (CSS) Development Team working on bring commercial entertainment content to IA platforms. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for delivering solution components that will be deployed across millions of Intel customer platforms. You will be responsible for the following
- Developing media and security product solutions for IA core platforms
- Working with service providers in the content industry to integrate Intel's solution with real-world products
- Developing with agile methodologies
- Software design, implementations, and documentation
- Performing security analysis on the solution and components
- Working closely with software developers to support and mentor the lower level design and implementation

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

:
- 10+ years of software design and development experience
- 8+ years of C/C++ and OO methodologies experience
- 8+ years of Windows development experience
- 8+ years of experience debugging and troubleshooting issues

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of video and audio processing (encode/decode) experience
- 2+ years of experience with DirectShow, Microsoft Media Player, Windows Media Player plug-ins and Microsoft Media Foundation
- 2+ years of experience with cryptography, content protection technologies, and tamper-resistant software
- 2+ years of experience with web-based application and cloud development
- Exposure of Windows 8 and Windows Metro application development, and .Net
