Description

As a software engineer in Intel's Assembly Tech Technology Development group you will be responsible for developing, testing, and support of software solutions to automate semiconductor factory operations. The mission of the automation group is to define and deliver integrated, cost-effective automation solutions and services for technology development and high volume manufacturing for Intel's Assembly and Test factories. Together we develop and support about 300 Software Applications - which includes ~100 Types of Equipment Control and ~200 Mission Important & Decision Support Systems. As a software developer in this team you will be responsible for creating robust, reliable, and high performance applications that satisfy all customer requirements. You will create and run test suites to prove the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications you develop. You will also provide expert level support to factory technicians and process engineers on use of these applications. Some international travel will be required.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications -

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience in software design/development on Microsoft Windows platform using Visual Studio, C#, .NET Framework 4.0, WCF, WPF, XML, Oracle/MS SQL databases.

Experience in OOP and Graphical UI development.

Knowledge of software engineering practices, source control management, testing methodologies.

Knowledge of semiconductor packaging and test manufacturing processes (Assembly/Test) and SEMI equipment standards/SECS/GEM interface protocol will be a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong general problem solving and software troubleshooting/debugging skills.

Tolerance of ambiguity and adaptability to change.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.

The ability to work independently towards defined goals.
