Job Description:

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software process.

We are looking for a creative, self-motivated software developer with history of following good software practices.
The person should be able to take ambiguous requirements and deliver creative solutions that require minimal maintenance and exemplify quality.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Gathering and analysing user requirements;
- Using judgment in data analysis to develop and design solutions according to requirements;
- Performing unit and integration testing;
- Planning and scheduling work to meet deadlines established by others to coordinate the completion of several related tasks;
- Developing/Documenting design specifications
- Implementing the solution.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline.

Additional Qualifications:
- Web/Software development skills in .NET (ASP.NET, C#), Java, JavaScript, C++.
- Knowledge and development skills in relational databases (such as Microsoft SQL Server) and TSQL (Transact-SQL)
- Strong Object Oriented Design and programming skills.
- Cross platform knowledge in Windows and Linux.
