The Graph Analytics Operation within Intel Labs develops solutions that address the challenges of Big Data Analytics and Large-Scale Machine Learning. It is focused on delivering disruptive software and hardware technologies that will transform datacenter operations and improve user experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer who is interested in working in a lean, Agile, entrepreneurial environment that will launch new Intel products into new markets. As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of the Development Leadership Team to establish and maintain development practices related to the creation of enterprise Software products. Your duties may include, but not be limited to, Performing complex product design, systems analysis and programming activities on applications software which may require some research, participating in product design meetings, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems, preparing technical documentation of product sub-systems, performs complex bug correction, testing and beta support for assigned products, research problems discovered during QA or product support and developing solutions to the problems, Create code, unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits with high quality deliverables.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous job and/or research experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
Must have a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar engineering discipline

Candidate must have 6+ months of work or educational experience in the following;
- Experience in functional and object-oriented programming (eg, C++, Java, C#, etc.)
- Experience in an Agile Environment (ie, Scrum, Lean, Kanban)
- Experience with the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise systems

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software quality best-known-methods
- Experience in Scripting languages (eg, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Experience with systems software for the Linux OS
- Experience with performance profiling and characterization
