Description

In this position, you will be responsible for developing security and content protection software/firmware and device drivers on Intel's Consumer Electronics and Service Provider SoC's such as Sodaville, Groveland, Berryville, and PUMA (gateway). You will be working closely with cross functional teams of Software and Hardware developers to develop/maintain security features (such as cryptography, hashing, signing and verification), and content protection features (such as DRMs (Digital rights Management), CAS (Conditional Access Systems). In addition you will also be involved with over all software security of the aforementioned platforms.

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Understand feature requirements and perform architecture and design.
- Software/Firmware development
- Test Case development
- Software Debugging

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 2yrs experience in C/C++ and Scripting language (Perl/Python)
- Strong understanding of software engineering concepts such as memory management, multi-threading, algorithms and data structures
- Firm grasp of programming tools such as compilers, linkers, and debuggers

Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming experience on Linux platforms
- Basic understanding of various crypto algorithms such as RSA, TLS, AES, hashing etc.
- Experience with security technologies (for example, authentication, cryptography, secure protocols), security vulnerabilities and attack profiles
- Experience with DRMs and CAS
- Experience with fuzzing, pen testing, hackathons
