Key Role:

Analyze Air Defense and Ballistic Missile Defense System capabilities, including sensors, weapons, C2 systems, and communications and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) operating landscape, such as key stakeholders, command roles and relationships, management bodies, and decision processes and document required capabilities to effectively conduct the IAMD mission. Analyze the planning and execution functions required so that appropriate Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) and JADOC-Mobile (JADOC-M) assets can accomplish the IAMD Joint Engagement Sequence (JES) as set forth in the IAMD Concept of Operations (CONOPS). Observe and analyze test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures. Conduct in-depth functional area research and mission analysis to identify needed capabilities and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) supporting the Pacific IAMD mission. Develop technical requirements, programming, and analysis documents to support service and Joint discussions and decisions regarding future systems and programs, including C2, sensor, and weapons system integration in missile defense architectures. This position is located in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with operational Command and Control or with Joint, service, or Combatant Command staff
-Experience with Air and Cruise Missile (ACM) Defense or Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) planning or execution at Combatant Command or service Component Command level
-Experience with current Air and BMD strategic concepts, plans, CONOPS, doctrine, and operating instructions
-Knowledge of Air Defense and Ballistic Missile Defense System capabilities, including sensors, weapons, C2 systems, and communications and the IAMD operating landscape, such as key stakeholders, command roles and relationships, management bodies, and decision processes
-TS/SCI clearance required

Additional Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with Theater Ballistic Missile Warning (TBMW), Shared Early Warning (SEW), and Combined Early (CEW) preferred
-Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple requirements on a daily basis
-Ability to demonstrate initiative
-Possession of excellent analytical skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree preferred
