Description

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for developing Java-based applications in an Agile software development environment. Work with the client and collaborate across a diverse project team. Interview stakeholders and users to develop, validate, and document user requirements. Develop specifications and design documents to fulfill end user requirements. Develop and deploy new software modules and interface and configure and maintain software components in a development environment. Troubleshoot, debug, and test existing software components and conduct user acceptance testing. This position is located in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with Java and JSP application development
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS a plus
-Experience with SQL, Apache struts, subversion, Ant, and Apache Tomcat preferred
-Experience with Google mapping services, including Google Maps and Google Earth preferred
-Experience with Windows Server 2003 and 2008 and Microsoft SQL 2005 and 2008 preferred
-Experience with IIS, Jboss, and WebLogic preferred
-Experience with Eclipse development tools or other IDE preferred
-Experience with Oracle database server installation and administration a plus
-Experience with collaborating and working on diverse project teams from geographically separated locations
-Experience with logistics automation tools, GCSS-J, and NRRE-BI preferred
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Security+ or Network+ Certification preferred
