Key Role:

Assist a DoD command with deploying and configuring SharePoint 2010. Install key services, including the user profile service, search service, and the managed metadata service and configure them, as needed. Help the command analyze their information management requirements and design and configure SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries to meet those requirements. Assist the command with evaluating common processes and advise them on methods for automating those processes using SharePoint. Provide backup and continuity strategies for the SharePoint system being deployed. This position is located in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
-4+ years of experience with administering SharePoint 2007, 2010, or 2013
-Experience with deploying and configuring SharePoint Server 2010 standard or higher in a multi-server farm
-Experience with setting up and configuring the user profile service and my sites in a production environment
-Experience with deploying and tuning the search service in a production environment
-Experience with users to identify requirements and design site structure and taxonomies
-Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications
-Experience with deploying the managed metadata service preferred
-Experience with stakeholders to design, develop, and publish term sets and content types a plus
-Experience with developing custom Web parts using VB.NET or C# preferred
-Experience with developing workflow solutions with SharePoint Designer preferred
-BA or BS degree preferred
