Key Role:
Serve as a department manager, senior section head, or recognized individual contributor. Develop and apply advanced software and systems methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. Plan and conduct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organize a means to achieve a solution of complex technical problems. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity and review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Review projects progress and evaluate results, recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis, and specify materials, equipment, and supplies required for the completion and implementation of technical projects. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services and provide technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations. This position is located in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-15+ years of experience with the latest state-of-the-art techniques in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or core sciences-Experience as a member of a Combatant Commander (COCOM) staff or in a position supporting a COCOM staff-Experience as a practitioner of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processes-Experience with planning or conducting experiments or innovation events in Joint military exercises-Current Top Secret clearance required-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications: (Preferred)-Experience in the Asia Pacific region-Experience with the planning or execution of experimentation or innovation events in coalition military exercises-MA or MS degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
