Cisco Security SME - ISE Focused Cisco Eng for Texas Cisco Security SME Leading VAR and Cisco Gold Partner is in growth mode in their Texas regions. Company has an established track record in numerous Verticals/Industries and is looking for seasoned & specialized Cisco Security Subject Matter Experts who can carry out projects from inception to finish.
*Ideal candidate will have solid experience working as a hands on, senior level Engineer for competing Cisco Gold Partners and enjoy carrying out projects from start to finish.
*You can be located in either Austin, San Antonio, Houston or Dallas as their are numerous projects/needs in all of those areas.

Needed for this position:
- CCIE or CCIE Security is a big plus. (CCNP Security or Wireless with IE level skills is OK as well)
- 5+ years of Cisco Security Engineering skills and experience including Cisco ASA Firewalls, ISE, Cisco Iron Port Solutions, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Cisco IOS Firewalls, Cisco ISR, Cisco NAC, Cisco ISE
- Strong experience in in client facing roles is required along with excellent communication skills and the ability to positively represent the firm.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Full life cycle management of Cisco Security projects (Pre-Sales, Solutions Design, implementation, and troubleshooting/support)
- Act as the regional SME for all Cisco Security Architectures & Strategies
- Working with clients to guide through knowledge transfer and detailed documentation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, key technology partners and internal teams (sales, support, etc.)
- Provide Tier 3 support for other regions when needed.
