Job Description: .NET Architect (Application Architect) with Front End Development Experience

CGI is currently hiring an Application Architect (.Net Architect) to focus on Front End development of an Oil and Gas commercial product that offers a number of benefits to industrial solvent formulators. The .NET Architect will be responsible for new development, enhancements to existing product, and maintenance/bug fixes. The .NET Architect will be responsible for preparing this software product for commercial deployment. The project will involve strong Front End development to make the UI end-user friendly and update the technology currently used in the product. Strong Requirements Gathering skills are necessary as the .NET Architect will interface with the product's business representatives to create the code necessary to translate the business needs into the current product code as well as provide support for bug fixes during testing phase. The .NET Architect will also be responsible for identifying out of scope items and provide accurate estimates for delivering additional enhancements on time as well as reporting accurate status updates.

Technical Skills and Experience:
Previous experience developing/coding for the Oil and Gas Industry
7+ years as a .NET developer
Experience using Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework
7+ years experience with ASP.NET
JScript
JQuery
SQL Server database experience
IIS
HTML
WPF
XML
Solid Business Analysis skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid Documentation skills
Experience with testing and bug fixing
Capable of working in a team environment or as an individual contributor
