CGI is currently hiring a Geophysical Application QA Tester/BA Analyst to work in Houston West Side.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of manual testing experience.
- Good understanding of SDLC and TDLC
- Good understanding different test levels and types
- Quickly and efficiently learn all necessary features and function of the required application
- Ability to translate user stories into test specifications, which includes user cases, test scenarios and test cases.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including the development, customers, users and testing team located in different countries
- Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into prioritized use cases.
- Create clear comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on the requirements delivered by the client and project team.
- Ability to identify, create, execute and debug test scripts.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze testing results, defect management, and regression testing to ensure all testing has met the client's needs and expectations.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills while interacting professionally with a diverse group of developers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics or petroleum engineering discipline.
- 2 to 3 years experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience in reservoir modeling, Petrel, Petra, SMT/Kingdom is a plus
- Experience using 1, 2 and/or 3D maps, seismic data, well logs is a plus
- Experience in manual testing petroleum/GIS systems but not limited to the following:
- Proven ability to plan and design test cases
- Write, execute, debug and modify new and existing test scenarios and scripts
- Execute testing recording results and provide detailed test reports
- Knowledge of TFS or Source Manager software At CGI, we're a team of builders.
