Position Summary:
As the IT Director of Actuary Support you will serve as the IT relationship manager for the Life & Retirement Actuaries. You will partner with Actuarial Operations personnel to establish current and future needs and requirements for modelling software and supporting hardware.
Other Responsibilities Include:
Formulate and drive implementation of effective solutions for Actuarial computing
Anticipate and plan for long-term needs of the Actuaries
Propose enhancements to the production and research environments that allow our capabilities to leap ahead of the curve rather than always be in response mode
Socialize Actuarial issues, problems, future needs throughout IT leadership
Assemble teams of specialists from within IT when needed to solve challenging problems

Organizational Structure:
This position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer

Position Requirements
The Ideal Person will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
7-10 year of experience in application development
Knowledge of financial services and actuarial systems a plus.
