IT "Infrastructure" Auditor - Permanent

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for an IT "Infrastructure" Auditor to join our client in downtown Houston, Texas.

Job Overview:

The client is looking for someone that has IT- Infrastructure Experience, "not" just an Auditor. The candidate should have field level IT infrastructure experience and understands technologies (Hardware, software applications and network).

Job Responsibilities:
- This IT "Infrastructure" Auditor will be meeting with clients, and audit their infrastructure, security, social media, etc.
- Plan and oversee process and technical reviews of Information Technology (IT) at corporate and plant levels ( internal and external clients)
- IT "Infrastructure" Auditor will develop audit programs based on organizational risk, credible external sources (eg ISACA) and Client's policies/procedures.
- Provide guidance and oversight to staff about audit procedures and technical aspects of IT and update work papers in preparation for IA management review.
- Provide periodic updates to Internal Audit (IA) management and request involvement in decisions and key activities as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of matters impacting IT, the energy industry, audit and Client.
- IT "Infrastructure" Auditor will build and maintain effective relationships with the Internal Audit, IT and business personnel.
- Develops cost effective solutions to control weaknesses or inefficiencies noted.
- Demonstrated technical skills and establishing linkage to business processes.
- Performs internal control testing and documentation in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley ( SOX) requirements

Job Qualifications:
- Four (4)-year degree in computer science, management information systems, or other applicable field.
- Experience in evaluating system design and implementation processes including project management processes & procedures.
- Four (4) or more years of relevant IT audit work experience.
- Varied IT audit experience at key layers of information technology: Application, Database and Operating System.
- Demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions, drive deadlines and deliver results.
- Knowledge of the following: PeopleSoft Financials 9.0, Energy Trading & Risk Management Systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Windows, UNIX, Linux, Oracle database, Firewalls, Routers, network security monitoring tools, VPN, ACL (Audit Command Language), Team Mate R9/10.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge/Certifications:
- Certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred
- Certifications with Windows, Cisco, etc. is preferred
