Manager of Software Engineering
Seeking a strong technical leader to lead data-driven engineering team. Play a pivotal role in the continued growth of business. The group focuses on infrastructure, measurement, and technology for implementation of execution tactics.
Responsibilities:
-Building and supporting execution algorithms
-Building and supporting live containers, monitors, and research environments for proprietary execution algorithms
-Striving to improve execution results through creativity, technical innovation, rigorous data collection, and live experimentation through various venues and methods
-Building measurement tools to help understand and improve execution
Qualifications:
-Highly organized, empowered with ownership and accountability, and a desire to strive towards operational excellence.
-A strong academic record with, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree from a top university in a quantitative or technical discipline. An advanced degree in computer science is a plus.
-Solid quantitative and technical abilities, including experience with Java, C or C++.
-Experience managing teams of 3+ engineers, and the ability to effectively collaborate with senior technology managers across the firm.
-Prior experience working in a trading or markets oriented role is a plus.
