Position Description:

Working with the Project Delivery Manager, the Project Manager - PMO provides project control, resource management, financial management and project reporting for one or multiple projects.

Supports the project delivery manager in creating and uploading work plans in AIG's project management tool, manages task allocations for resources on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, updates activity completion, validates weekly timesheets, calculates earned value and creates and maintains staffing profiles.

Working with external vendors, AIG Global Sourcing and Procurement, creates new job postings as per the PMO guidelines, tracks and updates delivery managers on the status of new postings, tracks the status of expiring contracts, initiates extension/renewal process as per PMO guidelines and obtains approvals as needed.

Provides financial oversight by proactively tracking and updating the status of statements of work from initiation to the accrual stage, accrues fixed price and travel (non-labor) costs based on PMO guidelines, plans and tracks expense invoicing for both Labor and Non-Labor resources, reconciles Labor/Non-Labor costs with actuals from timesheets, maintains financial information (accruals, spend to date analysis and financial forecasting), monitors and tracks planned cost against actuals and creates and updates budget information.

Keeps management up to date on project progress by providing weekly and monthly project status and responds to ad-hoc requests for information. Responds to inquiries from finance, customers and vendors as needed.
