Location: Houston, TX

Job Description:

For our client we are searching for a Project Manager responsible for overseeing the implementation of ITSM processes leveraging the BMC ITSM suite. The successful candidate will have experience successfully planning and managing process and tool implementation programs & projects in an enterprise environment. The project manager is expected to anticipate and resolve the organizational complexities and dependencies typical in enterprise ITSM implementation projects and effectively communicates with senior management to report project status, risks and address any issues that may arise throughout the life of the project.

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• PMP or PRINCE 2 Practitioner level certification or other equivalent formal training in a Project Management methodology
• ITIL V3 Foundation certification in addition to a practical understanding of ITIL best practices

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years demonstrable Project Management experience, including at a minimum:
  • managing all phases of a project lifecycle
  • simultaneously managing multiple projects and cross team dependencies
  • enterprise level projects for large, complex customers (fortune 500) across multiple business units
  • projects of  6+ months duration/$500,000+ budget
  • multiple project teams over multiple locations across multiple disciplines
  • exposure to C-level communication and reporting
  • demonstrable customer relation and stakeholder management experience
  • International and Oil & Gas experience are a plus

• Advanced use of Project Management tools to manage cost, schedule, scope, risk, quality management
• Proven understanding of at least 2 different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
• Experience with/knowledge of BMC ITSM Suite or similar products
