Job Responsibilities:

- The Business Analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. They are responsible for analysing, understanding and translating business needs into business/technical requirements.
- The Business Analyst configures the solution that is to be implemented. They work closely with business sponsors and the IT department and functions to accomplish the goals of the business and IT.
- The Business Analyst will provide performance measurement analytics, calculations, and ensure the integrity of performance data. They will also proactively participate in the enhancement of workflows and processes to support greater efficiency for Client.
- The Business Analyst will design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness. They will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations.
- Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify information systems.
- Plan, develop, and perform detailed configuration, and implement information system solutions in conjunction with users and developers.
- Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Develops simple to complex queries, templates, and ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Provide business reports to management and internal clients.
- Analyzes trends and recommends adjustments to Management.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, end user test plans and other QA assessments.
- Works with IT to conduct testing to meet project timelines and ensures that all tests are conducted and documented according the standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT.

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Management, or related field.
- At least five (5) years of IT or Business experience of which two (2) years are as an Analyst.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Access, and InfoPath.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Visio, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and SAP Business Objects.
- Requires knowledge of programming, development, and technical architecture.
- Experience with developing dashboards and custom reports.
- Experience with databases and creating queries.
- Strong practical business process skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated and verifiable leadership experience.
