The Sr. SQL Server DBA will provide database design, and administration of Microsoft SQL Server databases and will support all related company projects/application development. Responsibilities include design, and engineering of new SQL Server database systems, support all schema management, ETL, and database refreshes related to application development, and ensure the consistent, efficient operation of existing SQL Server database systems. Lastly, the position will require contribution to the on-going efforts of IT to maintain: optimum performance; data integrity; corporate security; and corporate database standards of databases at a cost efficient level.
Requirements
-Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
-Microsoft certification designations beneficial
-5-8 yrs. work experience in a SQL Server DBA role
-1-2 yrs. experience supporting application database development lifecycle
